Prince dies at 57
UPDATE, Apr. 21, 12:54 p.m.: Prince's publicist confirmed to the Associated Press that Prince, aged 57, passed away. TMZ first reported the news this afternoon. This story is developing.
Representatives for Prince have not yet responded to Mashable's request for comment.
TMZ is reporting that someone has died at Prince's Paisley Park studio in Minnesota.

It's not clear yet who that person is — but TMZ's reports say medical responders arrived at Paisley Park studio on Thursday morning, and the Carver County sheriff's department in Chanhassen, Minnesota is notifying next of kin. Deputies are also on the scene of a death investigation, according to an official statement on Twitter.

Prince was recently sick with the flu. He was on a flight a few days ago that was forced to make an emergency, landing in Moline, Illinois, so he could be rushed to the hospital, according toTMZ.
He threw a dance party at his estate the next day, to celebrate leaving the hospital, posting pictures of the event on Twitter.
