The latest 'Venom' trailer unleashes all the Carnage you could want
Excited about Venom: Let There Be Carnage? Been curious about how Woody Harrelson's Cletus Kasady really looks when he transforms into a spikier, blood-red version of Tom Hardy's titular anti-hero? This new trailer's got you.
In our latest look at Sony's upcoming Venom sequel, Carnage and his connection to Hardy's Eddie Brock comes into much sharper focus. So does the sadistic Marvel villain's overall look.
It sure seems like Venom: Let There Be Carnage is going for the same "WTF is this??" vibe as its predecessor, which means we all win. Sony's Marvel movies may not fold into the MCU, but at least Venom is keeping it weird.
Venom: Let There Be Carnage arrives in theaters this fall.
Looks bad
ReplyDeleteHe bites him to be carnage wtf
ReplyDeleteI like that venom isn’t scared of Carnage because of his weapons, but just because he’s red.
ReplyDelete*Sees Carnage with white teeth
ReplyDeleteMe: My dissapoinment is measurable, but I'm STILL DIGGING IT!
I like how venom wraps around eddy, while carnage literally morphs his user like a shape shifter
ReplyDeleteSeeing live action Carnage is a hell of a sight.
ReplyDeleteCarnage: Appears
ReplyDeleteVenom: Understandable have a great day
Venom: Aight I’m out
ReplyDeleteEddie: I’ll let you eat everybody
Venom: Aight bet
Love how ominous Carnage is because of his soft way of speaking.
ReplyDeleteIt makes him oddly disarming.
I love venom he’s just has this little brother personality and I love it it’s so good
ReplyDeleteI hope it's rated R because the last movie was really held back by the rating.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, Eddie should just tell people he has Tourettes's. Explain a lot of the random talking to himself and lashing out at people against his will.
ReplyDeleteIt’s pretty sick how carnage just violently bursts out of Cletus instead of more causally like Venom.
ReplyDeleteVenom is that one over-dramatic friend who is literally pissed off over every single thing ;'D
ReplyDeleteI'm a little worried that this movie is PG-13. I read the comic as a kid and I remember it being very dark.
ReplyDelete“That was going to be us!!!”
ReplyDeleteEddie shakes his hand
“NO!!!”
It's excellent. I figured fans would make more Spider-Man 4 fanmades trailers.
ReplyDeleteFrom watching this trailer, I'd say they've gotten a lot of things right, especially Carnage's personality, design and powers, but I still think Venom is a bit cringey. Sure, his design is spot on, but his voice and personality are laughable, and given the source material and the various iterations of Venom in the past, I fail to see how Sony thought that this characterisation would work.
ReplyDeleteWhen I think of Venom, I imagine a terrifying, violent creature that can be universally intimidating. I feel that this iteration of Venom completely misrepresents the one we all know and love. I won't call anyone stupid for liking this Venom, but as Teddy Roosevelt once said, 'Comparison is the thief of joy.'
Venom was always a goofball since the beginning, even in his most serious moments. He finds humor in violence.
DeletePlease let this be R. Please, do Carnage right and give him the R rating he deserves
ReplyDeleteVenom is genuinely such a funny character, like something about this big slimy black killing machine acting like a belligerent kid is amazing
ReplyDeleteI keep forgetting this movie is directed by Andy serkis and that makes it even better..
