A collection of portraits of glorious beards from around the world

The beard, once the domain of lumberjacks and the lazy, has experienced a rather amazing resurgence as a fashion choice in the past decade or so.
For many people around the world this particular type of facial hair has become a strong part of their identity, often requiring time, patience and painstaking maintenance to remain part of the bearded clique. Now, the beard is finally getting the recognition it deserves.
An exhibition titled BEARD, by photographer Brock Elbank, brings together a cross-section of people united by only one feature — their facial hair. From young to old, from dandies to drag queens; Elbank's simple, yet captivating photographs capture the unique beauty of the humble beard across different generations and genders.
BEARD is showing in Sydney, Berlin and then Sweden. Prepare for hair, lots of long, beautiful hair.
