We finally have our first real look at Marvel's The Eternals, and it's unlike anything in the MCU.
The long-hyped film, directed by Chloé Zhao, focuses on a group of superhuman beings that have guided humanity for years. Now, they come together to battle The Deviants, and to answer important questions like who will lead the Avengers. Richard Madden, Gemma Chan, Kumail Nanjiani, Lauren Ridloff, Brian Tyree Henry, Salma Hayek, Lia McHugh, Don Lee, Barry Kaoghan, Angelina Jolie, and Kit Harington star.
The Eternals premieres Nov. 5.

DeleteIt makes sense now. The Eternals were accomplices to Thanos' dehumanizing rhetoric that ended up wiping out half the population.

I remember Eternals has a Comic book when I was a kid drawn by the legendary king Kirby I read it but mainly got it for the artwork as I did like silver surfer and new gods very hard to translate to the Marvel cinematic universe in my opinion. I see all these figures but I’m thinking why should I care what significance or what impact are the eternal‘s gonna have a Marvel cinematic universe?
ReplyDeleteSame. I'm curious to see how they're gonna pull this off. I felt the same about guardians. I knew nothing of them nor did I care but now vol1 and vol2 are my favorites.

Marvel's Eternals looks like a European medieval drama film/series. So sad they drastically change the appearances of characters.

ReplyDeleteI love how they show snippets of human history from simple hunter-gatherers to the rise of Babylonian civilization. Archaeologists will have a field day examining the legacy of the Eternals as they trace their origins.
