Netflix's 'Masters of the Universe: Revelation' teaser is here to transport you back to the '80s

Remember the days of the mighty He-Man, whose muscle-bound cartoon form first graced our screens in the early '80s?

Well, he's about to rise again. On Friday, Netflix dropped its teaser for Masters of the Universe: Revelation, a cartoon superhero series that will follow on from where the classic TV show left off.

Chris Wood stars as He-Man himself (who's looking more ripped than ever), while Mark Hamill voices Skeletor (!) and Lena Headey pops up as Evil-Lyn.

  1. It's closer to 2002 series in terms of animation style

  2. Mark Hamill is literally the definition of "You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain" ;D

From Skywalker all the way to Skelator

  10. this looks EPIC!!!

Why was the maltese cross changed out, though? The stylized H on the harness almost looks like a Hordak symbol. That almost gave me a heart attack when I saw the thumbnail.

    1. It's a nod to the old Battle-Armor He-Man, I kinda like it! But yeah, would pref the maltese... :P I think there's some type of un-woke problems with that tho, so what can ya do :/

  14. It looks fantastic
However, call me cynical but I can't see He-Man being in it much. I mean he's a blue eyed blonde haired ultra masculine white male, he's basically the devil in the eyes of many in the industry

This scene is somewhat similar to the birth of the Skeletor in 2002's The Masters of The Universe.
