Australian prime minister accidentally drops the c-bomb on live TV
We can't believe we just saw this.
Australian prime minister Scott Morrison accidentally dropped the c-bomb during a live TV address to the country, explaining the government's revised definition of close contacts amid the Omicron COVID-19 variant outbreak.
If you skip to 5:55 in the video from ABC News above, the PM refers to "a close c**tact" instead, and it's blatantly unmissable. Pedestrian's Courtney Fry has a perfect clip of the moment on Twitter.
Australians, there's important info in there, of course. But enjoy Morrison's complete and utter fuck-up while you're at it.
how bout the n word
ReplyDeleteTalking about New Zealand no doubt.
ReplyDeleteUgh Aussies say that word way too much
ReplyDeleteSo. It's Australia. Hardly a word everyone doesn't hear 27x a day.
ReplyDeleteOkay just read the bullshit article.. Op you should be ashamed to have even provided this link..
It's crazy how nonchalantly the word you're speaking about gets used in the UK and Australia. But if you were to say that openly in America you might as well go ahead and cancel yourself.
DeleteWhere I live in the Caribbean we use that word about every 3rd. It has a totally different meaning here. Calling someone a cunt is no more harsh than calling them a dolt (inflection is important though). A popular way to tell someone to leave you alone is 'carry ya cunt'. It is equivalent to 'piss off'. Words are funny.
DeleteWhat’s the c word?

DeleteClose cuntact?
ReplyDeleteIt's just their accent
ReplyDeleteThe word is too reflective of their true form.
ReplyDeletescreaming
ReplyDeleteNice of him to give himself another nickname
ReplyDeleteSorry, the clip is 42 mins, can’t watch this creep for more than 4.2 secs, could you possibly do an edit?
ReplyDeleteWhat a piece of work this fella is
ReplyDeleteWhat a dropkick
ReplyDeleteGood self description!
ReplyDeleteDoes this mean we have to pay for tests?? Scotty from marketing strikes again
ReplyDeleteHAHA
ReplyDeleteA great way to describe what the present media were watching.
ReplyDeleteHahaha. Cuntact.
ReplyDeleteTo be fair … Morrison would surely be Aust’s home-grown expert in the genre?
ReplyDeleteMicheal Towke, as Morrison’s first ‘victim’ would surely agree?
DeleteHe finally told Australians what he thinks of us all.
ReplyDeleteScomo going Downlow with the blue talk.
ReplyDeletehe had just been in meeting with greg.
ReplyDeleteScoMo has a bus load of close ones - echoing the old 90s-00s maxim “John Coward is a Hunt”
ReplyDeleteOn ya Scott! You have my vote now 2022!
