The iPhone 16 launch event is just hours away, and if you’re anything like us, your tech-loving heart is already aflutter. Apple’s September 9 event, aptly tagged "It's Glowtime," is promising to be more than just a basic phone reveal.
We’re talking massive updates across the company's ecosystem—AirPods, Apple Watch 10, and potentially a better look at Apple Intelligence, the AI that Apple has big plans for. We know, it’s a lot. But don't worry, we’ve got you covered with all the details you need to stay ahead of the curve.
How to watch iPhone 16 event
As usual, the event is being hosted by CEO Tim Cook at Apple Park in Cupertino, California. The "Glowtime" launch event will start at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET. You'll be able to catch all the action live-streamed on the tech giant's YouTube page, which we've embedded below.
Or, if that's not working you can also watch from Apple's website or on Apple TV.
Wow, groundbreaking, stunning and brave, whatever.
ReplyDeleteanother event to make the world a better place 🙈🙉🙊
ReplyDelete🥱
ReplyDeleteThere are people that don’t know how to do this still?
ReplyDeleteHow much does (CR)apple pay you for these ads ?
ReplyDeleteThat explains my phone acting up in the last few weeks
ReplyDeletewhy not get a life for free instead a discount on a smartwatch 😄
ReplyDeleteThank * (insert something you want to thank), that we are past the time of Apple hype... That was awful!
ReplyDeletewas on the fence about buying the iphone 15 pro max and now not even 6 months later and they are coming out with the 16... these companies are ridiculous with the nonsense of how fast they try and turn out the next phone which in reality is just the same phone with a higher number and bigger bow....
ReplyDeleteI like Apple products but I wish they'd actually do some innovation.
ReplyDelete100% this.
DeleteThat time of the year when they make a minor change and add a new colour to help justify an expensive upgrade.
ReplyDeleteApple have not introduced an innovative product for 10 years.
ReplyDeleteMore overpriced designer tat with a 3year product life with no spare parts available, but now made in India.
ReplyDeleteYou are talking rubbish.
DeleteLooking forward to event.
ReplyDeleteBit nerdy maybe
DeleteMaybe but they put on a good show :-)
DeleteChanged to an iPhone about a year ago. Omg I want my Samsung back. So superior. I should Google to find another one but fear it will kill my battery…
ReplyDeleteSame old, same old.
ReplyDeleteApple will claim to be innovative by reading some new colours and a camera thats slightly better than the last one. The iSheep are idiots
ReplyDeleteThat's an easy answer. Don't tune into the event.
ReplyDeleteMR: We would really appreciate you include Mexico City (Central Mexico Time) when you do these summaries. It’s the largest city in North America (and a large Apple market) after all.
ReplyDeletethe best way to watch is the 10 min summary
ReplyDelete" Why is this Apple Event called Glowtime? Are they hinting about a new product that glows? Anyone else wondering about the title, or am I missing something?
ReplyDelete“Our new glow in the dark titanium frame not only lets you find your phone in the dark but also emits a low-level amount of radioactivity. Whilst well within FDA approved limits for adults this is however not safe for kids. We at Apple think it’s time you put down your phone on the bus and actually interacted with your kids.”
What about on Vision Pro? Was WWDC keynote available there to watch live at the time?
ReplyDeleteI remember Apple wanted to take out all the buttons on the phone as Jony Ive had wanted now that he’s gone they are adding back new buttons. Is the 3.5mm jack coming back to? Such innovation Apple
ReplyDeleteout of curiosity why is the Apple Tv App the best way to view the event?
ReplyDeleteiPad mini (PRO) with M2 chip please :D PLEASE!
ReplyDeleteapple is joke
ReplyDeleteThat was fun, y'all. Thanks to everyone who followed along, have to go type type type now.
ReplyDeleteI am actually sad there were no Apple Vision Pro updates!
ReplyDeleteI might cry again.
That's a wrap! Going to the hands-on area!! Ciao.

ReplyDeleteHuh, no announcements about the Mac Mini. The rumors were … inaccurate? I am clutching my PEARLS.
ReplyDeleteYour $999 iPhone 16 Pro still only comes with 128 gigabytes of storage.
ReplyDeleteI stop getting excited about Apple products long time ago, it's practically the same product just with a few improvements.
ReplyDeleteyou more or less describe all of them if we adhere to you criteria. intel been reselling same CPUs for 7.5 generations with same architecture used as "efficiency" you can count 15 generations of desktop CPUs.
DeleteHow’s it taken you a decade to realise this?
DeleteAny more it's about marketing to people looking to upgrade from older phones
DeleteThe hardware looks fine, but hearing that every other software feature is coming in a future update sort of takes away half the excitement, is nothing ready for prime time over at Apple?
ReplyDeleteThat's not ture, all the useful features will be there with the initial software release. Its the useless AI nonsense that's coming in future updates.
DeleteRemember when Apple forced everyone to watch their stuff through Quicktime?
ReplyDeleteApple TV App! I want the beautiful glow around the screen.
ReplyDeleteHmmm… I just noticed there is no ambient for me with the TV app. Is there a way to enable it?
DeleteNothing like that Ambilight, am I right!
DeleteYouTube in Meta Quest Browser (I’m buying a Vision Pro next week!)
ReplyDeleteIn 3d w screenlit
ReplyDeleteCan you stream through screenlit‘s 3d renderer? :)
DeleteYes, here is the URL to paste: https://events-delivery.apple.com/2907awdhsyhpvlytqgjqgskvlqzxnhph/m3u8/main_ak_fa.m3u8
DeleteWhat’s that?
Deletean app in appstore that converts 2d videos to 3d
DeleteinSpaze!
ReplyDeleteWhere is the event located on Apple TV? Can’t seem to find it
ReplyDeleteI am watching on the Vision Pro using Apple TV+ in theatre mode. So good!
ReplyDeleteOn my MacBook while working, like always. AVP experience in Steve Jobs Theater would have been cool but Apple doesn't appear to want to create fun experiences, yet.
ReplyDeleteOf course! :)
ReplyDeleteTonight?
ReplyDeleteIn the UK, it starts at 6pm, so that would be early evening for me.
DeleteI'd like to see an immersive video option, considering how much flying around they do around the campus :)
ReplyDeleteThat would be awesome
DeleteAVP
ReplyDeleteIn my iPhone. Since that’s what I have handy on me, and there is no immersive viewing option. If they had an immersive viewing option, I would make sure to be available on the avp
ReplyDeleteCan’t find the event on Apple TV+ in VisionPro. I’m watching on Safari AVP.
ReplyDeleteGods, I just want a revamp of iTunes so it’s easier to search owned shows and movies. The search engine FEELS at least 10 years old.
ReplyDeleteFrom Apple TV app? Or YouTube? I don’t think this question deserves a Reddit post. Simple Google search would give you the answer!
ReplyDeleteI believe there are a couple of spatial watch parties that probably wouldn’t show on a simple google search- o also think that they are being coordinated through this subreddit, so this was a great place for a post imo
DeleteI’m wondering too- if there are watch parties, I may do that with a couple others on Spacetime
Not sure my question was clear enough, I was trying to ascertain the best way to watch it on the Vision Pro itself for an immersive experience… Just via Safari? The Apple TV app? As this is a subreddit for Vision Pro Users I thought I would engage rather just searching. But hey Thanks for taking the time to reply to me.
DeleteI see, Apple TV app and YouTube both streams in 4K I haven’t noticed a quality difference since both are from their official channels.
DeleteIf you are routing from a 3rd party website definitely there will be a quality loss since it’s a live stream.
PS: Apple keynotes are not immersive videos
