Why Elon Musk is the real winner of the 2024 US Presidential election

Musk's most trusted employees (and lackeys) will likely assume governmental positions for Musk.

  1. He's pretty much secured his federal contracts and well on his way to bank a trillion dollars. This was never about making America great again, this was about making his bank accounts solid gold! Still slaving off a pay check? Yeah well your gonna stay that way and still pay a good portion to the federal government! It's a great time to be alive! Remember it's gonna get worse before it gets worse!

  10. Honestly hard to say. The safest call I can make on this election cycle is that aside from Joe Biden stepping down after his disaster debate performance very little seems to have moved the dial one way or another.

I think most people who like Musk are already right leaning tech bro crypto types anyway. Which put them in the alt-right sphere to begin with. Most other people probably already had a negative opinion of him if they had one at all.

  11. Elon Musk has signed up to pay Dominion millions in a defamation suit.

    Not sure why.

    1. When it comes to Elon's choices most of them can be explained by the fact he is in constant desperate need of validation from the weird group of follows he's gained.

      Delete
    2. He and Trump have that in common. Which makes it an absolute certainty that their "friendship" will eventually blow up. You could see the irritation on Trump's face when Musk was bouncing around on the stage behind him. He resented being upstaged. Two raging narcissists will never get along for any length of time.

      Delete
    3. Elon seems to always get away with defamation, like with "pedoguy" , maybe that has made him stupidly bold?

      Delete
    4. He lost the last one he was in, where he was the plaintiff. It was ironically dismissed as a SLAPP.

  12. I think he is helping trump because there are so many uninformed people that only care about what is in front of them that they will legit allow him to illegally buy their vote then rabidly defend him when people dont like it

    1. Yes, I agree, voter gullibility is a central issue in understanding the votes for Trump.

      Delete
  13. His financial assistance can be helpful to just about any candidate. However, personally getting involved and campaigning is not going to change much, it might even turn some off.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Musk haters and trump haters are probably 99% overlapping sets. So it's hard to think he'd have a net negative effect, so the real question is how meaningful or not the net positive effect may be.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I don't think it makes any difference. It won't convince democrats or undecided but won't chase away republicans either. There is not much point involving him besides twitter and his money

    ReplyDelete
  16. Small is my guess. There is a certain subset of younger male voter that is swayed by this guy. Most of those that would be swayed though I feel were already swayed by various somewhat toxic streamers.

    1. Yeah, the wallstreetbets voter isn't the bloc I'd want to hinge my chances on

  17. Musk has an enormous platform and has given almost $100 Million to Trumps campaign.

    I'd say he helps.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Eh he's also been crashing and burning that platform since day 1. Its basically 4chan 2.0 with a lot of bots now.

The money helps but as far as I can tell its a drop in the bucket and Democrats overall have been raking it in with both bigger and smaller donations. The GOP is comparatively bankrupt.

      Delete
    2. Harris has raised a billion. Musk gave Trump 1/10th of that by himself. You can drop that in my bucket anytime.

      Delete
    3. Except he hasn’t given $100 million to Trump’s campaign, not least because he legally can’t. He’s given about $70 million to Trump PACs, one of which is his own. That’s really not the same thing. Meanwhile, Harris’s campaign raised that much.

  18. Elon Musk is a drug addict and a jackass. He’s already so far right that no one with any modicum of decency would take him seriously about anything.

Anyone who would be stupid enough to be influenced by Elon Musk is almost certainly already a Trump cultist. People on the fence might be turned off, and of course there’s a lot of Republicans who are anti-EV, so it might make them feel confused and not vote.

So, what they're admitting is that Elon is better than 83 billionaires.

We already knew that, but it's about time they come out and admit it! 😂

  28. And is gonna reap with both hands, luckily imo he will see to it that America wins big. Headroom for possibilities and growth has never been the same, all thanks to this man.

  31. Elon IS the reason

No X, none of this happens

Keep in mind Trump was banned on Twitter

  32. Elon Musk won this election for Trump , no two ways about that.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Elon has said democracy dies when free speech is censored and he’s right.. the playing field on X is equal. Nobody gets banned for saying there are only two genders, abortion is murder or vaccines are not healthy

  50. Elon won this election fr not trump. He’s the richest man in the world and bought the biggest free speech platform in the world just to endorse him.

    ReplyDelete
  51. The real winner of this election? Elon Musk. He bought X, restoring true freedom of speech. Before him, Twitter was heavily influenced by narratives that leaned left, often silencing voices that disagreed.Conservatives, including Trump, were banned until Musk a lifted the bans.

    ReplyDelete
  52. It is not hyperbole to say Elon won this election.
First by buying Twitter. Then by taking a stand. Then by putting his money where his mouth is.

It has been said so many times already but the Dems biggest mistake was making him their enemy.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Honestly, one of the worst aspects of the result is that el0n WON. He bought Twitter with the full intention of setting the narrative online in Trump's favor. And... it worked. Legitimately gets his face in US history books over this, if Trump's 2nd term delivers on their agenda.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Elon Musk might actually be the biggest winner in this election, dude went all out for Trump in a way I don’t think any other business man has done in the history of America’s election

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Mark Cuban has always been vocal of those he supports also. Musk just hedged his voice against the candidate that had the better chance. Truth is Kamala had no chance at all. The election was long lost. That was why the likes of Obama had to be out all through the campaign.

      Delete
    2. Better chance???
Most analysts could not agree on the fact that it was a walk away for either of them, I think it is actually a risk going all out for him

      Delete
    3. Guy, since 2016, the main stream media have never had their facts right with elections. Americans were genuiley tired of Biden-Harris administration and needed a breath of fresh air and Trump was the only one proffering what they felt was a solution.

      Delete
    4. He put his time, energy and money into it

      Delete
  55. Going to say it. The true winner of the election is Elon Musk. He doesn't have to worry about government fucking up his contracts. He has direct access to the highest levels of government. Starlink can expand. Twitter is safe. something mars #ElonMusk

    ReplyDelete
  56. He won on Elon's checkbook, liberals pushing moderates away, and conservatives pretending to be undecided voters. He would've beaten Biden too. I'm surprised it was this close.

    ReplyDelete
  57. He only won them because Musk manipulated the voting process. With all his technology, over the past couple of years they figured out how to do it. Now the Democrats in Washington seem to have stuck their heads in the sand. JMO
