That is I never started Boogie With The Bull Morning Caffeine or Boogie With The Bull Uncensored to have to charge you money to buy stuff so that you can watch us or charge you money to subscribe so you can watch us! So watch Boogie With The Bull Morning Caffeine, at 10a Eastern Monday & Wednesday and Boogie With The Bull Uncensored at 7p Eastern Tuesday & Thursday on Dave Glovin & Boogie With The Bull YouTube Channel!

  37. Between the "X" increase and the "pay to pray" with Trump, MAGA fools are gonna go broke if they didn't already give all of their money to these con artists. 47. X has substantially raised the price of its top-tier user subscription in multiple regions to help bolster the platform’s creator payouts. The increase for Premium Plus came into effect on December 21st according to X, raising prices in the US from $16 per month to $22, or from $168 to $229 for annual subscriptions.

Many European countries like France, Germany, and Spain are impacted by a similar increase, taking monthly prices from €16 to €21. Monthly subscribers in Canada (currently paying $20), Australia ($26) and the UK (£16) will also see pricing increased to $26, $35, and £17 respectively. The higher pricing is immediately applicable to new subscribers, with existing users grandfathered into their current rates until January 20th. X’s basic subscription tier remains unaffected.

The pricing changes for US subscribers are the highest increase introduced since Elon Musk purchased the social media platform in 2022. X gave several reasons to justify the price hike, citing that Premium Plus is now completely ad-free — which it described as a “significant enhancement” to the current user experience.

X also references changes made to the X revenue sharing program in October, saying that subscriptions “now more directly fuels” creator payouts to “reward content quality and engagement rather than ad views alone.” Premium Plus subscribers will additionally receive priority user support, access to additional features like X’s Radar trend monitoring tool, and higher limits on the platform’s Grok AI models.

    1. Posts from free Twitter accounts are mostly bots, and the algorithm filters them out.

The algorithm favors posts from paying users.

Paying users use Twitter for engagement and monetary gain.

So the enshittification of Twitter is:

      - Normal free users disappear into bot noise.

      - Visible posts are either Musk propaganda or ads.

    2. Don't tell Elon, but I'd be prepared to pay to not use it.

      Or see it.

      Or see Elon.

      Or hear Elon.

Maybe he could provide a "FuckMusk™" package, which for a low monthly fee would automatically filter Elon out of all news, social media and searches.

      Delete
    3. Damn! I’d pay A LOT for that package! If you could through in Trump and his 2nd admin for the next four years, I’d pay triple ….

    4. If you stream on Twitter (which many content creators do) you have pay to livestream your content. Many have build up audiences and stream to multiple platforms. While I stream on YouTube, 90% of my live stream viewers are on Twitter. I run a sports channel and Twitter has a well-developed sports niche. It’s the only reason why I’m on the platform and why I pay for Twitter.

      Delete
  49. What do you get again? Ad free and boosted posts but is that it? You used to get access to grok but everyone gets that now, I can't imagine what's worth paying

    ReplyDelete
  56. Seems like things are going well.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Twitter Plus or whatever the fuck it's called is a perfect example of how awful Musk is at running a business.

Twitter is the perfect example of a business that NEEDS advertising to survive, but he has no idea how anything works, so he accidentally chased off all the advertisers. Rather than rehiring the moderation team and admitting he fucked up, he figures that he can just charge users to use a now vastly inferior product, and that'll fix everything.

The problem is, he based his math on the total number of users instead of factoring in the likelihood of people actually wanted to subscribe. So he panics and comes up with whatever his payout scheme is, not realizing that that actually makes his problem worse. So now there's a smaller number of users than ever before who'd need to pay 100 times what they are to come close to breaking even.

  58. I stopped using Twitter a year ago, when Elon went batshit crazy. Haven't missed it at all.
