This is my personal blog, which is about news in general. we have a collaboration, with Mashable. my blog It's called ''Find a way out of reality'' why?, I ask you that question. find a way to escape reality.
Everyone should drop X immediately and then we can stop having it in the news as well. Radio silence about Musk and all his ridiculous exploits. He has power because we give it to him with tools like this. Take the power back!!!!

I got on reluctantly several years ago to keep track of a very specific activity with my ham radio buddies. That was before Big Bro bought it. Now that the activity I was tracking has been completed, no need for a daily dose of Big Bro’s misinformation.
Very MISLEADING article by Mashable. The writer never mentions that millions of X users can still have FREE ACCESS to X. Only those who subscribe to "premium subscription" is charged $22/month. ANYONE can still sign up for FREE ACCESS to X.
Between the "X" increase and the "pay to pray" with Trump, MAGA fools are gonna go broke if they didn't already give all of their money to these con artists. How is it that all these extremely wealthy people need our $$$ and so many of us are stupid enough to give it to them???? These guys have no morals or a conscience.
Those on X are bottom feeders. I quit when Donald won. I don't need a megaphone with nasty MAGAt's attacking me all the time for having a different point of view.
Watch out. He’s going to sic lawyers on your for saying that outloud just like he did that org that showed advertisers what content their ads was appearing next to
X has substantially raised the price of its top-tier user subscription in multiple regions to help bolster the platform’s creator payouts. The increase for Premium Plus came into effect on December 21st according to X, raising prices in the US from $16 per month to $22, or from $168 to $229 for annual subscriptions.
Many European countries like France, Germany, and Spain are impacted by a similar increase, taking monthly prices from €16 to €21. Monthly subscribers in Canada (currently paying $20), Australia ($26) and the UK (£16) will also see pricing increased to $26, $35, and £17 respectively. The higher pricing is immediately applicable to new subscribers, with existing users grandfathered into their current rates until January 20th. X’s basic subscription tier remains unaffected.
The pricing changes for US subscribers are the highest increase introduced since Elon Musk purchased the social media platform in 2022. X gave several reasons to justify the price hike, citing that Premium Plus is now completely ad-free — which it described as a “significant enhancement” to the current user experience.
X also references changes made to the X revenue sharing program in October, saying that subscriptions “now more directly fuels” creator payouts to “reward content quality and engagement rather than ad views alone.” Premium Plus subscribers will additionally receive priority user support, access to additional features like X’s Radar trend monitoring tool, and higher limits on the platform’s Grok AI models.
If you stream on Twitter (which many content creators do) you have pay to livestream your content. Many have build up audiences and stream to multiple platforms. While I stream on YouTube, 90% of my live stream viewers are on Twitter. I run a sports channel and Twitter has a well-developed sports niche. It’s the only reason why I’m on the platform and why I pay for Twitter.
What do you get again? Ad free and boosted posts but is that it? You used to get access to grok but everyone gets that now, I can't imagine what's worth paying
Twitter Plus or whatever the fuck it's called is a perfect example of how awful Musk is at running a business.
Twitter is the perfect example of a business that NEEDS advertising to survive, but he has no idea how anything works, so he accidentally chased off all the advertisers. Rather than rehiring the moderation team and admitting he fucked up, he figures that he can just charge users to use a now vastly inferior product, and that'll fix everything.
The problem is, he based his math on the total number of users instead of factoring in the likelihood of people actually wanted to subscribe. So he panics and comes up with whatever his payout scheme is, not realizing that that actually makes his problem worse. So now there's a smaller number of users than ever before who'd need to pay 100 times what they are to come close to breaking even.
Just means his followers are going to have less resources than they already had… which wasn’t a lot to begin with because there aren’t a lot of opportunities for basement dwellers that don’t go outside or live in the real world
Wouldn’t you want to lower prices a bit so many users find it more attractive? even to bait and switch them later? Who the fuck runs this Xitter thing. 😂
Elon tiene que sacar immultble eso ya es old

ReplyDeleteSnake oil salesman president musk.
ReplyDeleteIt’s an odd move for the owner of a platform that is losing users at a fair rate of knots.
ReplyDeleteEveryone should drop X immediately and then we can stop having it in the news as well. Radio silence about Musk and all his ridiculous exploits. He has power because we give it to him with tools like this. Take the power back!!!!

DeleteYep, it isn’t in my monthly budget either.

DeleteFed scammer
ReplyDeletein case anybody forgot what this was ALL really about

ReplyDeleteI won't use X for free. There isn't a single think he is selling that I would be interested in buying.

ReplyDeleteGotta compensate for the the lack of advertisers
ReplyDeleteNow Musk has enough $ to buy the presidency ! Democracy for sale !!! Renovate after purchasing and make it any kind of government you like !!!
ReplyDeleteThose on X are bottom feeders. I quit when Donald won. I don't need a megaphone with nasty MAGAt's attacking me all the time for having a different point of view.
ReplyDeleteNot good!
ReplyDeleteGlad I've never been on Twatter.
ReplyDeleteThis affects only premium subscribers of X, not the millions who have FREE ACCESS. Anybody can still sign in for FREE at X.
ReplyDeleteNothing screams 'failing platform' like exorbitantly raising a fee on something nobody wants...
ReplyDeleteHis cult will continue to pay so they can continue to feel like part of his inner circle. If they don't they'll be shunned.
DeleteThat was free! Everyone’s forgetting this.
Deletelol i can only imagine what goes on in the meetings to decide this
ReplyDelete"we've done like 3 discounts in the past 3 months we plastered the ads everywhere, we've made popups for it ffs why aren't anyone new buying??"
"well fuck it all these bots will still pay regardless let's just milk whoever's still left"
They are probably on auto renewal and hoping people won't even notice
DeleteThis! People on yearly going in to new year. Be like oh shit, after they get charged lmao.
DeleteGenerous of you to think there's anything going on over there as organized as a meeting.
DeleteWait, people PAY to use Twitter? Not using it is still free right?
ReplyDeleteI'd argue that not using it is actually better than free, because you're not exposed to The sewer of rwnjs. Better mental health is priceless.
DeleteFree to not use until President Musk transfers the NPR funds to twitter.
DeleteWatch out. He’s going to sic lawyers on your for saying that outloud just like he did that org that showed advertisers what content their ads was appearing next to

ReplyDeleteAnyone who is still on twitter, whether you pay for it or not, is a moron. Especially any media.
Still supporting a narcissistic psychopath.
Best way to piss them off is to not give them an ear to talk into.
Don't worry, you will still hear of all the dumb shit he does.

Why would anyone pay for this? Except right wing echo chambers perhaps.
ReplyDeletePosts from free Twitter accounts are mostly bots, and the algorithm filters them out.
DeleteThe algorithm favors posts from paying users.
Paying users use Twitter for engagement and monetary gain.
So the enshittification of Twitter is:
- Normal free users disappear into bot noise.
- Visible posts are either Musk propaganda or ads.
Don't tell Elon, but I'd be prepared to pay to not use it.
DeleteOr see it.
Or see Elon.
Or hear Elon.
Maybe he could provide a "FuckMusk™" package, which for a low monthly fee would automatically filter Elon out of all news, social media and searches.
Damn! I’d pay A LOT for that package! If you could through in Trump and his 2nd admin for the next four years, I’d pay triple ….

ReplyDeleteWasn't it 50% less ads or something not too long ago?
DeleteHalf the posts on Twitter right now are ads or farming engagement
DeleteThat’s why when you open a popular tweet you see a whole bunch of tweets that have nothing to do with what they’re responding to
Let's keep canceling all things Elon Musk!
ReplyDeleteAnd of course spineless US corporations will gladly pay it just to curry favor with President Elon.
ReplyDeletegrandfathered until January 20th

Wait, wasn’t inflation supposed to go down after Trump’s election? 🤔
ReplyDeleteStill a great value for what you get. /s /s /s
ReplyDeleteMillions are dropping off so let’s raise the price!

I stopped using Twitter a year ago, when Elon went batshit crazy. Haven't missed it at all.
