when you low IQ folks say TDS, it announces to the world your lack of intelligence. Also, letterman threw things off the roof for laughs decades ago, it must hurt being that stupid
Please tell me that there legitimately wasn't a viable way for them to get the furniture and food to people who need them especially in this economy or auctioned them off to raise funds for charity like other items so I can stop feeling conflicted about this and just enjoy the FU to CBS 🥹🫠
CBS can play the best advertisements they can harvest but I'll never see them. When the decision was made to sacrifice the nation to the big orange pedophile, I turned off the TV. I will not contribute to my own demise. Its just lies or make believe. No truth can be found anymore. Count on me to continue boycotting anything the Ellisons have to offer.
CBS apparently stands for Corporate Bull Sh*t. Colbert was the only thing worthy watching on that network. I’d rather watch Fox News than CBS News…. And that’s saying something.
Guess you didn’t know that they lost their ass financials for 6 years because his ratings sucked and couldn’t sell advertising. Any company that’s cuts out a 1/3 of their customers ( conservatives ) is a losing company. Trump gave CBS the opportunity to axe.ud given him a raise? https://media.tenor.com/CR4fb5nk_qwAAAAC/gilbert-gottfried-you-fool.gif
Trump gave them the OPPORTUNITY? You mean the president of the United States USED THE LEVERS OF GOVERNMENT to shutdown someone he hates? That’s a PURE VIOLATION of the First Amendment. But you don’t care as long as it’s Trump and you getting what YOU want. FUCK the Constitution.
Levers of government, like trying to bankrupt Trump, take away his freedom, spy on the Catholic Church, have FBI agents off the official clock on Jan 6, going after parents that disagreed with school boards is that what u mean levers
No Trumps sued networks and won this idiot didn’t do anything illegal but they lose their ass and because colberts ratings and the financial loses easy call. I think Trump does some silly shit. But he’s blamed for everything right or wrong. So good they axed him. He not funny
The enemy of your enemy is your friend. The fact that you think the right supports the Jews is hilarious. Maybe you need to do a little bit more research name a democrat that didn’t support the Jews 100% after JFK was executed. Republicans are not the same as conservatives.🤷🏼
Americans are done listening to Stephen Colbert’s smug progressive-left propaganda. Most of us tuned out the nonstop bias, lectures, and scripted “comedy” a long time ago.
Yup, not ALLOWED to have an option other than Trump’s on national TV. Your FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHT ceases to exist on TV if you disagree with Trump. I get it. It’s the KKKULT mentality. ONLY deity sir dear leader matters. FUCK TRUMP!!! FUCK AUTOCRACY!
No one forced Colbert off the air. The market spoke — Americans rejected the smug progressive propaganda and stopped watching. As for the KKK: it was founded as a Democratic Party institution in the post-Civil War South and served as the violent enforcement arm of the Democrats
Imagine getting home after the day is done at one of those buildings opposite the theatre only to look out your window and watching two late night legends dropping crap off a roof 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thank You to Stephen Colbert for telling Truth to "Power," such that it really is. "You can take a man's show, but you take take his voice!!" Fuck CBS! Fuck Trump!
It'd be an interesting experiment for Colbert, Kimmel and anyone else to start shows on an uncensored, decentralized network. Could definitely be done with today's tech.. apparently you'd just:
"Self-host the video data on an independent server network, distribute the content asynchronously across PeerTube and IPFS, and handle all live-streaming alerts, community interaction, and direct viewer monetization via the Nostr protocol."
There, easy-peasy! I know it'd be a bit of a switch, but the time is right. Gotta zig when they zag.
That was legendary. One for the history books. Now, let's see what's next! So excited about the Lord of the Rings project, Only in Munroe and everything else!
I'm not worried in the least. This might seem like a death of a dream to some, but all worthwhile dreams are reborn, usually stronger if there's enough support. This is a test of that strength. Let your voices be heard, no longer support the enemy's control systems. Break the chain of consumption, and dismantle the regime. Don't follow along - criticize and stay active. Vote and make sure its counted. If we don't willfully consume their Approved State Media, they can't spread their fascist control propaganda. This fight is so far from over, trust me.
🎉This was not going too far, and i think most people missed the revolutionary nature of David and Stephen's non violent civil disobedience.
What a great way to protest. From what i gather Stephen did not mince words, in fact chopped up the network's brand mercilessly but ghandi and mlk demonstrated the power of moving past words and into action.
When I saw that they were destroying the property of the network who acted on behalf of the elites i found myself standing up clapping as sofas and office equipment went over the wall, and they just kept at it over and over tears welled up because although the message was lighthearted prank to viewers I know the suits feelings grew from discomfort to outrage and I hope eventually to shame.
Bravo funny men You hit them where it hurts them. They could give a shot about people but start destroying material inventory, tell me that didn't get their attention. Sad, really that the country and corporate America is run by such small and petty folks, I can't even call them men. Really sad but The People continue on.
First time i saw this o missed the intro. All bets are off.

Helluva way to go out 🫡 Just a note: "Capital has the ability to subsume all critiques into itself. Even those who would critique capital end up reinforcing it instead."
😂So HAPPY to see Dave always loves animals and also loves stickin it to TheMan 😂 gosh i hope these two plan something together as a duo cuz its delightful hilarious and both of them are irreplaceable and effing AMAZING
This put such joy in my heart. In World War II they shaved the heads of women who were Nazi collaborators. I think once Trump is gone, this fate should be what awaits the execs who bent the knee to Trump!
The police sirens towards the end were perfect. I like to think they were showing up because they got a report that people were throwing stuff off the CBS building.
Love it! Amazing! Stephen Colbert, you will be missed. Thank you to you and to David Letterman. To CBS, Bari Weiss, and The Ellisons, cancelled subscriptions to your streaming services and stopped watching CBS a while back. Thanks for contributing to the further 💩ification of the US.
F CBS, f Paramount, f the Ellisons, f the FCC, f Trump. I put Trump last because any of the others could have stopped him. Permanent boycott on anything associated with the removal of Colbert. CBS, Paramount, sponsors, Meta, Google, Tesla, Microsoft, everything AI, what 'evs. Resist this sh!t
Le monde va vraiment mal, la liberté d'expression va mal....j'espère qu'il y aura des jours meilleurs, car ça devient de pire en pire. Courage à vous !
If Colbert had done this kind of humor and didn't use the show as a political propaganda machine, he would still be on the air. Instead, he took the greatest late night variety talk show in history and wrecked it until it, deservedly, has been relegated to the ash heap of history. And, while Dave shifted hard left himself in his old age, those final words should have not been directed to CBS, but to Colbert himself.
I am laughing so hard. A night ago I was watching and thinking the two blue chairs are iconic, and yet comfy... I am wondering if they will be auctioned off for charity... But nothing beats the impact of this healing moment! Impactful.
I don't think I was supposed to tear up but this episode really meant alot to me (how sad is that!? lolz:P) I always imagined my music would one day take me to an appearance on Letterman, then a dream replaced by Colbert. In the words of The Stones '... u can't always get what u want...' . Cheers to both of you and thanks for the memories! ❤❤😎😎
after about eight decades, television transmission/broadcasting ought to go anyway, starting with the Late Show. and by the way, can't people just let Trump be president? there's nothing we can do about it anyway, let's just live our lives the best we can and worry about what happens in our house, not the White House. besides, you wouldn't dare want to tell conservatives Sean Hannity, Brandon Tatum, or Dan Bongino to their faces how you feel about the President and argue with them as they wouldn't tolerate it. They have no patience for leftists, I used to be a Late Show watcher and a democrat, but I grew up and became a conservative.
So basically Colbert is a sore loser. Yep, typical leftist behavior.
ReplyDeleteHe's certainly sore, but far from a loser. A "sore loser" is somebody who loses a fair contest and then tries to use violence to change the results.
DeleteYou mean a DEMOCRAT. And then they call it a "peaceful protest".
DeleteCan we just flush and move on?
ReplyDeleteAre we still living in the 80's?

ReplyDeleteso effective...
ReplyDeletehe's still cancelled but now with embarrassing temper tantrum evidence

Deletemore effective than your screen name, both those gentleman have a spot more coin than you

ReplyDelete👏🏻👏🏻
ReplyDeleteEVICTION Party Time!!🤣🤣✔
ReplyDelete...I never did it but we're at the end here so.... F**K IT!
ReplyDeleteThank you Stephen for all those years of good laughs, you'll be missed.
Hope to see you soon on a better spot.
😂😂
DeleteI think that may have been almost as good as "will it float" - the wedding cake trajectory and impact was a work of art.
ReplyDeleteGoing out on a high.
ReplyDeleteRIP CBS
ReplyDeleteThe cake! 😂😂😂😂
ReplyDeleteJust feckin beautiful! Thank you and Tap'er lite
ReplyDeleteHuzzah!
ReplyDeleteLove Colbert so much and the Jimmies but their will never be a match to Letterman.

ReplyDelete😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
ReplyDeleteI love this. So cathartic.
OMG! I remember doing this in school on our last year of highschool 😂😂😂 brings memories 😂
ReplyDeleteCBS is paying for its "big, fat bribe." You called it what it was, Stephen, a big, fat bribe.

ReplyDeleteCrazy to think I was born the year this show was created and lived long enough to see it ended by a fascist government

ReplyDeleteWe will make Magats our servants.
ReplyDeleteCBS apparently stands for Corporate Bull Sh*t. Colbert was the only thing worthy watching on that network. I’d rather watch Fox News than CBS News…. And that’s saying something.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree. The GOP has managed to turn most networks into propaganda machines
DeleteI like that ABC and NBC are resisting that though
DeleteYes!
DeleteSame!
DeleteSo far.
DeleteFox News is at least good for a laugh
DeleteNo ratings, liberal activist show, not funny, won’t be missed
DeleteGood night and good luck, motherfucker. That’s how we all feel.
ReplyDeleteRight on.
Deletelol.. anyone who thinks Dave is doing this for Colbert is funny.
ReplyDeleteThis is Dave’s classic.
Colbert never had the balls to do it in his comedy rotation.
Fuck CBS for caving to the orange asshat!

DeleteAs for the KKK: it was founded as a Democratic Party institution in the post-Civil War South and served as the violent enforcement arm of the Democrats
for generations. The right wing isn’t racist. That’s a smear the left keeps pushing while ignoring its own ugly history.
DeleteLetterman handed this off and this asshole destroyed a CBS long-standing program with his political TDS. Good job there, Colbert.😂
ReplyDeleteomg the throw stuff off the bldg stuff was epic, as always, and Dave was in his old self form, what a day for a walk. Perfection!

ReplyDeleteYup, never watching another product of CBS or paramount ever again. Fucking fascists
ReplyDeleteafter letterman and leno late night died!
ReplyDeleteImagine getting home after the day is done at one of those buildings opposite the theatre only to look out your window and watching two late night legends dropping crap off a roof 🤣🤣🤣🤣
ReplyDeleteThank You to Stephen Colbert for telling Truth to "Power," such that it really is. "You can take a man's show, but you take take his voice!!" Fuck CBS! Fuck Trump!
ReplyDeleteI was hoping there would be melons.
ReplyDeleteBye CBS.
ReplyDeleteHaving to see that cake align itself to the ground before the point of impact is the icing on the proverbial cake!
ReplyDeleteThe Columbia Broadcasting System Broadcasting, Inc. will take awhile to go out of business. But yeah, fuck those guys.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to say "BOOM SHAKALAKA" to that cake.
ReplyDeleteThank you to you both and your great teams over the years. You have brought levity when we have needed it most!
ReplyDeleteNo one believes CBS that this had nothing to do with Trump. NOBODY! So suck and egg CBS! You will soon be gone too!
ReplyDeleteI can now file CBS away in the same place I reserve for FOX. Crap I will never view again.
ReplyDeleteSo long CBS, cancelled my Paramount today
ReplyDeleteThe meta funny thing about all this is that CBS had to approve all of it and they did. In the end it is all publicity for them.

Damn, had totally forgotten that Stephen took over Dave's late night spot
ReplyDeleteCBS- eat sheet cake.
ReplyDeleteI would assume it's more like "wanton destruction of s*** nobody bought in the auction"
ReplyDeleteThis was so satisfying. Thank you Dave and Stephen!
ReplyDeleteCBS SUCKS
ReplyDeleteColbert’s career made the same sound the melons made 😂😂
ReplyDeleteFuck CBS
ReplyDeleteThis I will watch many times! On YouTube

ReplyDeleteTruly. Goodnight and Good Luck MFers.
ReplyDeleteThat was fabulous!! Dave is a legend and didn't miss a beat!!
ReplyDelete3:04 - Back in the day, Gallagher would have used a mallet to destroy watermelons in front of a crowd, with a (plastic) spray guard.
ReplyDelete😂So HAPPY to see Dave always loves animals and also loves stickin it to TheMan 😂 gosh i hope these two plan something together as a duo cuz its delightful hilarious and both of them are irreplaceable and effing AMAZING
ReplyDeleteWatching this with a mixture of delight and a heavy heart.
ReplyDeletewas it just me or were those tosses by stephen and dave on the money every single time?
ReplyDeleteThis put such joy in my heart. In World War II they shaved the heads of women who were Nazi collaborators. I think once Trump is gone, this fate should be what awaits the execs who bent the knee to Trump!
ReplyDeleteThe police sirens towards the end were perfect. I like to think they were showing up because they got a report that people were throwing stuff off the CBS building.
ReplyDeleteHope those were the extra chairs since they auctioned off the actual chair
ReplyDeletePerfecly good furniture destroyed. People starving to death and chucking perfectly good food away
ReplyDeleteGoing out with a bang.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely SPECTACULAR!!!🎉. Bravo gentlemen!
ReplyDeleteLetterman’s sign off, zero Fs given…especially at 80+…gotta’ love these two.
ReplyDeleteLetterman + Colbert bit = LEGENDARY
ReplyDeleteGood Luck in everything, Stephen! Bye CBS traitors.
ReplyDeleteso good!!
ReplyDeleteI really hope someone buys the theatre and saves it.
ReplyDeleteIf only Colbert was an actual comedian and didn’t push a political agenda, his show would have lasted longer…..but, good riddance
ReplyDeleteI never thought the scene of a cake exploding on the pavement was going to be really EPIC!
ReplyDeleteRight on point faarken funNY.
ReplyDeleteFuck CBS maga can have it.
ReplyDeleteLove it! Amazing! Stephen Colbert, you will be missed. Thank you to you and to David Letterman. To CBS, Bari Weiss, and The Ellisons, cancelled subscriptions to your streaming services and stopped watching CBS a while back. Thanks for contributing to the further 💩ification of the US.
ReplyDeleteI grew up with Dave's sarcastic wit. I'm glad to see that he still gives zero F#@ks! I plan on following Mr. Colbert, wherever he ends up. (;@
ReplyDeleteBring back Dave and Paul.
ReplyDeleteThey should have sold them for charity. Some fool with too much money would buy them.
ReplyDeleteThey did sell some of the chairs, I assume nobody wanted those ones.
DeleteLOVE IT!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is probably one of the most rockstar things I've ever seen on late night talk television!
ReplyDeleteThey'll be back 😊
ReplyDeleteThis was actually entertaining, unlike everything else he did in the last 10 years. Preachy partisanship didn't work.
ReplyDelete1:33 you're out of my life, CBS
ReplyDeleteWho knew wedding cake was that aerodynamic?
ReplyDeleteThe Late Show died after 33 years due to a backstabbing for some quick cash...
ReplyDeleteDear God, Stephen REALLY IS Jesus.
This was the best .
ReplyDeleteLegend has it David Letterman is still on the roof, throwing down watermelons, to this day!!
ReplyDeleteI remember Letterman fighting with NBC during his late night show. Dont mess with Letterman! 🥊🥊
ReplyDeleteYEAHHHH!!!

ReplyDeleteLol omg
ReplyDeleteThe final show, but you and your show won’t be forgotten. Good luck and thank you for all the joy and laughter you brought to us.
ReplyDeleteLe monde va vraiment mal, la liberté d'expression va mal....j'espère qu'il y aura des jours meilleurs, car ça devient de pire en pire. Courage à vous !

ReplyDeletePerfect!! Letterman always brings it!! Thank God Colbert brought him!!!
ReplyDeleteFuck CBS. Weaklings

ReplyDelete🖕CBS!
ReplyDeleteStephen is now off the air. Ladies and gentlemen, never tune in to cbs again!
ReplyDeleteVery satisfying- esp. the cake! Dave was right.
ReplyDelete😂❤ That was genius! Thank you so much! Good night and Good Luck! MFers😂❤
ReplyDeletePerfect example of liberal behavior, get triggered and destroy other people's property.
ReplyDeleteOne more reason to HATE TRUMP 😠
ReplyDeleteI loved Letterman. And his absolute giddiness at destroying CBS property is hilarious
ReplyDeleteFU CBS, I won't forget your decision
ReplyDeleteYears later, People will remember the show, not some cbs.
ReplyDeleteCBS is officially dead to me
ReplyDeleteDamn, that was awesome.
ReplyDeleteNow everybody, remember to unsubscribe to everything CBS & Paramount.
See ya on the next ride!
Letterman. Pro. Like it was his show again. CBS has ruined his show more than once.
ReplyDeleteThat is the best kick in the ass for a broadcaster I have ever seen. I hope we can welcome Stephen to another, reputable station soon.
ReplyDeleteCBS.. Cheap BS
ReplyDeletethis brings back memories of my childhood. thanks guys
ReplyDelete"Galileo would be proud!"
ReplyDeleteI don't think I was supposed to tear up but this episode really meant alot to me (how sad is that!? lolz:P) I always imagined my music would one day take me to an appearance on Letterman, then a dream replaced by Colbert. In the words of The Stones '... u can't always get what u want...' . Cheers to both of you and thanks for the memories! ❤❤😎😎
ReplyDeleteDamn I forgot about how awesome it was when The Late Show threw shit off the roof!!! That was EPIC!!! 🤣👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️✌🏻🇨🇦

DeleteWhat's the name of the song at the end, over the slow motion free fall of cake?
ReplyDeleteThat's some sturdy furniture. Nice hit on the bullseye, felt cathartic.
ReplyDeleteThe boys at How Ridiculous would be proud.
ReplyDeleteThose are some SOLID @SS CHAIRS
ReplyDeleteHal Gurnee would be very proud . The beginning of the end of CBS. Ellison ….take a sh!t
ReplyDeleteNeeded Jerry and Michael Richards
ReplyDeleteMorgan Wallen be like “how they get away with this?” 😂
ReplyDeleteMaybe if Colbert's Wife was HEAD (verb) Writer he would still have a Show........(Kimmel)
ReplyDeleteGreat Pair! Letterman wasn't funny either.
🌹Stephen for President 🌹
ReplyDeleteLove you both! F -CBS and Paramount plus! Will never watch either ever again. Saving me $$$$
ReplyDeleteDave loved it! 😂. Stephen went back to childhood. 😂
ReplyDeleteThey should have put the orange clown on the target.
ReplyDeleteOMG what if it'd hit one of the windows on the way down? LOL!
ReplyDelete👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
ReplyDeleteThe best segment of all time. Goat. 🎉🎉🎉 Thank you To everyone at The Late Show, both past and present. **** you to those who caused this.
ReplyDeleteNo wonder this show is getting cancelled. This bit was terrible
ReplyDeleteThat cake's flight path was a thing of beauty.🎂🛩
ReplyDeleteShe was really flyin'.
That was surprisingly more cathartic than I thought it would be!
ReplyDeleteNever forget we have a petulant baby in the white house.
ReplyDeleteStaying up late on Friday to catch David Letterman on CBS followed by Conan on NBC was peak childhood for me.
ReplyDeleteCould have enjoyed eating a slice of melon here in my neck of the woods, but as you like. #nojudgment
ReplyDelete2 CBS i say “FU”
ReplyDeleteThis is very precious. I love that they brought Dave back
ReplyDelete🛋️🛋️🪑🍉🍉🍉🍉🍉🍉 🎂
ReplyDeleteThat. Was. BEAUTIFUL !!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Let this be the end of their wretched network
ReplyDelete
