The SpaceX IPO shows how Elon Musk found the cheat code for capitalism.

Would you buy an AI company that's actually a space company from this man? Probably.

  2. Submission Statement:

Elon Musk wants a SpaceX IPO of $1.75 trillion. To get there, he got the rules changed so that index funds, with millions of American's retirement savings, are forced to buy in. Regular people will take huge losses, while insiders cash out. But there is a way for us regular people to fight back. By submit your feedback to the S&P about this rule change at this link by the end of today May 28: https://www.spglobal.com/spdji/en/governance/consultations/mr4292/

    1. I think it was a way to eliminate taxes from executive bonuses.

      Delete
    2. How does that work? As far as I know:

      1. Executive bonuses are a tax write off for the company
      2. There are no taxes on the bonuses the CEO gets (as options) until they sell the shares, which they never do, just leverage them for low interest debt.

      Delete
    3. no they way to do that is to pay bonuses in stock and borrow against your shares.

    2. Exactly this is some blatant corrupt shit that's just right out in the open. Why are they continuing to hand Elon billions of dollars and give him so much influence? The valuation of a not profitable company is obviously way overblown. It's a bad investment and a grift, yet everyone's retirement funds will now be forced to fund it which will lead to Elon becoming the first trillionaire?

  23. This all made me just kind of realize…. lmagine the army a trillionaire could have. With that kind of money, they could find a way to overthrow the government. Trillionaires and billionaires are basically a national security threat. And I expect they are ones the government can do nothing about at this point. Do I sound crazy? I can’t help but think about how Osama Bin Laden wasn’t even a billionaire, was just sitting on like 30 million to my knowledge, and he still messed the world up with just that little. He was the biggest contributor to 9/11 and spent only like a half million dollars to do it.

    1. Overthrow the government? Hasn't that already happened? Trump has bragged that Musk stole the 2024 election for him. Also, the billionaires own almost all the media in the USA, so most people do not hear about the really bad stuff Trump is doing.

  47. It will be a “successful” IPO because the underwriters are going to keep the public float very low. It will have a huge first day and be really volatile like most IPOs. The 250+ PE ratio is up there with Palantir, but just like Palantir, institutional investors justify the forward PE projections because they perceive it as a monopoly. Institutions will keep the stock up but they won’t risk holding as it tests new highs, so it’s setting up a pure long play.

SpaceX makes every other space program on the planet look like they're stuck in the 1950's. What they're doing is what America should have accomplished decades ago, or at least by the 1990's or 2000's.

Whatever he gets for making SpaceX happen, whatever he did to make it happen, he deserves it. No matter what you think of the guy, and I'm not a Trump guy.

  54. E-v-e-r-y-o-n-e knows the SpaceX umbrella of companies is a straight up Ponzi Scheme using sales numbers from selling to their own companies under the umbrella to account for profits. Waymo does self driving where Tesla had the head start. China is crushing Tesla in EV's. SpaceX wasn't reliable enough for moon mission & contracts are circular money requiring new funding rounds to keep the scam going (that's where you come in). We are NOT colonizing Mars (lol). Starlink satellites have a short life and critics all say this is a classic case of 'Future Belief' funding present operations. He lies about everything and rigs elections according to his own statements. He constantly has to find a new scheme to stay one step ahead and the timing couldn't be worse. This is the end of the line and the 1% are now just selling to themselves.

  60. I am not a trillionaire, or a billionaire, but I think he will just end up merging SpaceX with Tesla into one company, which can also serve as a mask to shield some of the breakdowns Telsa is dealing with now - struggling sales. And the profits and margins for SpaceX may be greater since there isn’t much competition and the customer isn’t consumers, and that will help compensate for Tesla’s numbers.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Can’t think of a more deserving person

  64. SpaceX accounted for more than 18% of all U.S. Cybertruck registrations during the final quarter of 2025. Other Elon Musk-led ventures (including xAI, Neuralink, and The Boring Company) acquired an additional 60 vehicles. The world's first trillionaire will be the guy who learned how to fellate himself.

    2. I think its actually been studied and found that there is just a flat plateau of satisfaction you can get from wealth. I think it was like $100,000 whatever that adjusts for in inflation. After a point you get diminishing returns because the money can't really secure you anymore.

It just becomes a scoreboard you think you need to win. If Elon Musk literally was given every single cent of wealth in the world he'd simply chase something else to fill whatever hole he has in his life.

Hell if that happened his chances of overdosing would probably skyrocket as he chased different highs.
