Did they steal the T-Mobile font for the T1 logo? heh

I wonder what generic OEM board is inside this thing?

$100 Temu special with a Trump splash screen?

    ReplyDelete
  10. The T1 phone looks like any other smartphone and features a flat screen with three cameras. It runs on an Android operating system, according to the company's website. The gadget comes in gold and has a 6.78-inch screen, fingerprint sensor and AI face unlock, in addition to other features. The cameras include a 50 MP Main + 8MP Wide + 50MP (2X Tele) camera and a 50MP front camera.

So how much of the work will be done in the US?

The first T1 phones were assembled in the United States, O'Brien confirmed. Moving forward, models will use components primarily manufactured in America.

    Press X to doubt.

    2. Yet on their website it still says the same thing it's said for months. That is that it's made with American values, designed here. It doesn't say it's manufactured here or uses primarily US components. What components could there be? Hardly anything for cell phones is manufactured here. I guess TSMC could be fabing some chips in Arizona, but I doubt it. Until proven otherwise, I say it's a Chinese phone.

  12. My favorite feature:

    - Trump will proudly be displayed in the status bar as your network*

    - AI face unlock? (software means AI these days).

I simply have no idea the point of this. Probably a way to funnel a big purchase from a big company, to be able to have access to the president. Just like DJT stock.

There are so many Android phones and so many telcos options that it makes me confused.

That means they took it out of a bulk shipping container and placed into individual boxes that were printed in the US. 49. So Trump's phone is going to ship next week.

How do we go from all the reporting that the language was changed to indicate the deposit wasn't an actual deposit, reporting that there is no phone and may never come, talk about it being a $500M scam to the phone being available and ready to ship?

Even if the bad press motivated them to follow through on phone manufacturing and delivery, this still seems awfully quick.

    2. I'm assuming they found the absolute cheapest possible maker overseas and are just pumping out the laziest crappiest shit in hopes that it will lower the outrage slightly.

I expect that we will see something like a Huawei phone just dipped in gold paint lazily, to the point that cameras and other things that should have been protected won't be and will be covered up.

      Delete
    3. Imagine China puts spyware on those phones and leaks Epstein files 2.0 maga edition.

      Delete
    4. It's not a coincidence. They're probably shipping like a single phone so they can respond to the recent articles as fake news...

      Delete
    5. Maybe they have a handful of them ready to ship so they'll send those out just to say they're doing something.

      Delete
    6. It's really not that time-consuming to stick a label on a pre-existing product from overseas.

Since they have walked back thier "made in America" claim, that would seem likely and totally doable within a week or two.

And there is nothing here about quantities. They could claim they have "started shipping" but sent out only the first 2,000 or 50, or 5 pieces, out of 600,000.

I don't think the reporting was wrong. I think this is a grifter who knows how to keep a grift going when the true-believers start to get nervous they'd been had.
