The T1 phone looks like any other smartphone and features a flat screen with three cameras. It runs on an Android operating system, according to the company's website. The gadget comes in gold and has a 6.78-inch screen, fingerprint sensor and AI face unlock, in addition to other features. The cameras include a 50 MP Main + 8MP Wide + 50MP (2X Tele) camera and a 50MP front camera.
So how much of the work will be done in the US?
The first T1 phones were assembled in the United States, O'Brien confirmed. Moving forward, models will use components primarily manufactured in America.
Yet on their website it still says the same thing it's said for months. That is that it's made with American values, designed here. It doesn't say it's manufactured here or uses primarily US components. What components could there be? Hardly anything for cell phones is manufactured here. I guess TSMC could be fabing some chips in Arizona, but I doubt it. Until proven otherwise, I say it's a Chinese phone.
Nothing says ‘I don’t trust the government with my data’ like handing your info to A Trump mystery company that spent a year not sending you a phone, 'made in America' A.K.A. made in Shenzhen.
- Trump will proudly be displayed in the status bar as your network*
- AI face unlock? (software means AI these days).
I simply have no idea the point of this. Probably a way to funnel a big purchase from a big company, to be able to have access to the president. Just like DJT stock.
There are so many Android phones and so many telcos options that it makes me confused.
I note it actually says they will start shipping this week. That's still not actually shipping them, just another in a long string of promises. Trump has been saying the Iran war is going great, the Iranians are on the phone begging for a deal and it will be over very soon too.
The Trump Mobile apparently has 100% US based customer service, haven't seen that in a while in a mobile carrier. The service is too expensive for us though. https://trumpmobile.com/
He’s doing a good job in office but he needs to stop trying to make money from the position. Carter sold his peanut farm yet he’s openly doing all this
His war in Iran is losing. Inflation is skyrocketing. He is protecting the people in the Epstein files. How is this doing a good job? His approval ratings are historically low.
The thing for the MAGA marks to do here is hold their breath and wait by the mailbox. Should be showing up right after the health care plan and those DOGE and tariff rebate checks.
They sold 600,000 of these things. I recently lost my phone and got a temp burner smartphone and 1 month service for $50. $400 for a P1 Pedophone has a huge margin. How they messed this up idk.
I bet it is a Huawei phone....contract manufactured in china or vietnam with a bunch of wiggle words on assembly. That means they took it out of a bulk shipping container and placed into individual boxes that were printed in the US. Once these ship, someone will do a breakdown, and find that not a single significant component is actually made in america...and it is a straight knockoff of some minor asian phone player, sprayed with cans of gold paint they bought at walmart...These people are so full of shit...and our government agencies intended to protect consumers will not say a word...
Fine print says that Trump Phones may never come. https://thehill.com/homenews/state-watch/5872884-terms-on-trump-mobile-site-indicate-that-phones-may-never-come/
Trump phones no longer "Made in America" as promised. https://time.com/article/2026/05/11/trump-phone-late-not-made-in-u-s/
How do we go from all the reporting that the language was changed to indicate the deposit wasn't an actual deposit, reporting that there is no phone and may never come, talk about it being a $500M scam to the phone being available and ready to ship?
Even if the bad press motivated them to follow through on phone manufacturing and delivery, this still seems awfully quick.
Probably a media campaign to make naysayers look bad. So much depends on social media now. Imagine: haha GOT MUH TROMP FONE! Stoopid LIBS said i werent gonna get it. Tromps da man!
I'm assuming they found the absolute cheapest possible maker overseas and are just pumping out the laziest crappiest shit in hopes that it will lower the outrage slightly.
I expect that we will see something like a Huawei phone just dipped in gold paint lazily, to the point that cameras and other things that should have been protected won't be and will be covered up.
It's really not that time-consuming to stick a label on a pre-existing product from overseas.
Since they have walked back thier "made in America" claim, that would seem likely and totally doable within a week or two.
And there is nothing here about quantities. They could claim they have "started shipping" but sent out only the first 2,000 or 50, or 5 pieces, out of 600,000.
I don't think the reporting was wrong. I think this is a grifter who knows how to keep a grift going when the true-believers start to get nervous they'd been had.
Like those old trophies handed out at little league or youth bowling (or any event in which those $15 trophies are handed out), where the "gold" outer layer starts chipping and the white plastic mold reveals itself.

The only things they can even remotely deliver on are the refurb phones they're selling. It will always be a terrible idea to send money to anything with Trump's name attached.
"While the Trump phone remains unreleased, Trump Mobile is selling refurbished Samsung phones and iPhones that connect to its network and its so-called 47 Plan—a $47.45-per-month service that pays homage to Trump’s distinction as both the 45th and 47th president."
Comes with a sucker, one for every person who purchased one of these things.
ReplyDeleteLoving the uneven spacing between lens.
ReplyDeleteLooked better when it was two camera bumps instead of one lol

Was waiting for this follow-up; good stuff (in spite of the entire concept, of course), thanks Dominic
ReplyDeleteWhy is the flag missing a stripe? I guess that's a metaphor.
ReplyDeleteIt's not missing a stripe—there were always only twelve colonies that won independence
DeleteThey'll probably tell you the Trump logo is the 13th stripe lol.
DeleteI can't think of a more uglier phone. I mean...I guess they want cult status?
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for the review.
ReplyDeleteIt comes with a bridge?
ReplyDeleteHello Central,
ReplyDeleteGive me Don Jr.
'Trump Mobile says the phone is coming'
ReplyDeleteDid they steal the T-Mobile font for the T1 logo? heh
I wonder what generic OEM board is inside this thing?
$100 Temu special with a Trump splash screen?

Press X to doubt.
"An Android operating system". Willing to bet it is an EOL version.

DeleteA cell phone made with American values? Wtf does that even mean?
DeleteIf you're kind, that's called sales puffery. If you're not so kind, it's BS grifting
DeleteNothing says ‘I don’t trust the government with my data’ like handing your info to A Trump mystery company that spent a year not sending you a phone, 'made in America' A.K.A. made in Shenzhen.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite feature:

Yeah by "AI face unlock" I assume they mean the built in camera only face unlock that's been in android since 2011
DeleteIsnt this a scam.
ReplyDeleteFor a new "premium" phone in 2026 to ship with Android 15 is a scam.
ReplyDeleteA copy of the missing Epstein Files and a $2000 tariff refund check will also be inside
ReplyDeleteOops... I first read it wrong; I thought you wrote "I hope the heavily implied scam was very obvious." Well, maybe not wrong.
ReplyDeleteI note it actually says they will start shipping this week. That's still not actually shipping them, just another in a long string of promises. Trump has been saying the Iran war is going great, the Iranians are on the phone begging for a deal and it will be over very soon too.
ReplyDeleteLmao love how it comes out just as everyone started to bitch about it missing for like a year now 😂😂😂🤡🤡🤡 also no longer assembled in America!
ReplyDeletePretty sure they announced that #1 it was never shipping and #2 the people that paid ahead for one will NOT be refunded.
ReplyDeleteYou get direct and first access to all things happening in Israel. You also get a $10 bet token to use on polymarket.
ReplyDeleteIt comes with a custom cushioned diaper case.
ReplyDeleteI heard he doesn't even have a bhole
ReplyDelete20GB of premium data would be the killer for me on it. We have other offerings that give us more for the price.
ReplyDeleteI call bullshit. I would be surprised if anybody ever sees their phone.
ReplyDeleteMay as well call it Vought Mobile 🙄
ReplyDeleteIt was not obvious at all 😞
ReplyDeleteThanks for the recommendation. Just bought 4!
ReplyDeleteHow dare you call him just the leader, he is our king! lol
ReplyDeleteJoffrey by another name.

ReplyDeleteThe Trump Mobile apparently has 100% US based customer service, haven't seen that in a while in a mobile carrier. The service is too expensive for us though. https://trumpmobile.com/
ReplyDeleteI’ve only gotten US based support for my Spectrum phones.
DeleteHe’s doing a good job in office but he needs to stop trying to make money from the position. Carter sold his peanut farm yet he’s openly doing all this
ReplyDeleteHe's not "trying" to make money from the position. He's been openly making money hand over fist from it, all through both terms. Have you been asleep?
DeleteHis war in Iran is losing. Inflation is skyrocketing. He is protecting the people in the Epstein files. How is this doing a good job? His approval ratings are historically low.
DeleteHe isn't loosing the war in IRAN but everything else is the whole truth!
Delete"He’s doing a good job in office"
DeleteNot sure how anyone can say this with a straight face.
People who watch Faux 24/7
DeleteWhere are they getting the 600,000 number from? Is this a number that Eric made up?
ReplyDeleteHey maga, time to pull out your lawn chair out of the shed, and wait for it
ReplyDeleteTrump is an absolute inspiration. First bibles and now a gold phone. It better be made in China
ReplyDeletehttps://imgur.com/a/74OZqgT
I wonder did he have to pay tarriffs importing them from China?
ReplyDeleteThe thing for the MAGA marks to do here is hold their breath and wait by the mailbox. Should be showing up right after the health care plan and those DOGE and tariff rebate checks.

ReplyDeleteOf course they will....NOT!
ReplyDeleteDoubt.
ReplyDeleteI can’t think of any illegal scheme in recent times that Trump isn’t a part of
DeleteAt least this only affects his idiot base, I'm more pissed about the blatant corruption involving tax dollars.
DeleteThe most beautiful ballroom and pool colors you've ever seen!
DeleteThey sold 600,000 of these things. I recently lost my phone and got a temp burner smartphone and 1 month service for $50. $400 for a P1 Pedophone has a huge margin. How they messed this up idk.
DeleteThis restaurant down the street rings up everything at 10% higher than the menu says, and then only gives a receipt if you ask for one.
DeleteBut yeah, that's actually likely to be because Trump raised the price of everything recently..
Maybe you're correct.
Are we sure it isn’t two weeks from now?
ReplyDeleteA week from now they'll say another two weeks because is adding his "personal touch" to each of them.
DeleteWhat personal note? Will he lick every single phone?
DeleteFrankly, i see the Trump phone as a satire... ;-)
“Lick” is the best case scenario.
Delete“Why does my phone say it has water damage?”
Let's just say that the phones will need therapy, and will probably never work quite right again.
DeleteNo it won't.
ReplyDeleteShort, sweet, to the point, and correct. Noice!
DeleteImagine willingly telling the world that you are so in love with a conman that you buy his gold phone.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the plan is still $47.45/mo (because of course it couldn't be $45.47, because that's $1.70 left on the table).
DeleteAnd tennis shoes and bitcoin and watches and cologne and digital NFT’s and bibles and……the list is endless. It’s absolutely mind-boggling.
DeleteThis is fascinating because these have been all over my news feed lately from people complaining about never getting them...
ReplyDeleteso this sounds like scrambling to save face.
These things are clearly going to be absolute trash.
If real, the only people that could pull this off are the low end Chinese phone manufacturers.
DeleteSlap some gold stickers on an existing phone, put it on a plane to get here. Not all of them, just enough to say it was done.
Gold spray paint
DeleteThey’re going to chalked full of Chinese and MAGA spyware.
DeleteA burner smartphone with a month service is $50. All you have to do is add some gold paint to one. Of course Pedo managed to screw this grift up.
DeleteI mean they absolutely were fine never bringing it up again for about over an year and half when it was supposed to happen.
DeleteNow turns out they CAN deliever them, thatp oeple made it a story again.
I saw some clips of screaming pedo supporters raging about it. They look and act like you'd expect.
DeleteIs the spyware preinstalled?
ReplyDeleteWell it is an android phone.
DeleteI bet it is a Huawei phone....contract manufactured in china or vietnam with a bunch of wiggle words on assembly. ReplyDeleteNGL, the design of it just from that picture looks a LOT like the Huawei I had back in 2015.
DeleteAgreed. It was probably the plan all along but now they have to rush.
DeleteFine print says that Trump Phones may never come.
ReplyDeletehttps://thehill.com/homenews/state-watch/5872884-terms-on-trump-mobile-site-indicate-that-phones-may-never-come/

DeleteIt's not a coincidence. They're probably shipping like a single phone so they can respond to the recent articles as fake news...
DeleteMaybe they have a handful of them ready to ship so they'll send those out just to say they're doing something.

I bet it's heavily bugged and full of malware. It probably hasn't been properly beta-tested either.
DeleteSomething something own the libs.
I look forward to hearing how terrible it is. Probably cheap plastic spray painted gold and will crack and scratch in people's pockets.
ReplyDeleteLike those old trophies handed out at little league or youth bowling (or any event in which those $15 trophies are handed out), where the "gold" outer layer starts chipping and the white plastic mold reveals itself.
DeleteExactly and maybe it fades and melts when left in the sun.
Deleteis it confirmed?
ReplyDeleteTrump is in China to choose the can of gold paint that will be sprayed by Mao’s Auto Body. All bets are on Communist Gold #78.
ReplyDeleteWhen will Republicans deliver "Affordability"?
ReplyDeleteI bet it is a Huawei phone....contract manufactured in china or vietnam with a bunch of wiggle words on assembly. ReplyDeleteChecks are in the mail, folks.
ReplyDeleteThat’s surprising, I thought it was going to be two weeks. 🤔
ReplyDeleteDoes it also require a proprietary network that also will be delivered in one week?
It's gonna be Infrastructure Week, too.
ReplyDeleteThis mobile phone is the equivalent of a MAGA hat that warns everyone around to avoid the person with it.
ReplyDeleteUSA Today just making shit up at this point.

The Trump phone doesn't exist as described in the initial prospectus and it never will.
ReplyDeleteupdate: Trump’s gold T1 phone will start shipping this week in two weeks
ReplyDeleteTrump’s supporters want to be conned. It’s some kind of sexual fetish with them—they want daddy Trump to dominate them.
ReplyDeleteSure, Jan.
ReplyDelete590,000 buyers paid $59 million for Trump's gold phone - not 1 has shipped and refunds look unlikely.
