Xiaomi's T series of phones is typically an interesting take on the company's flagship. Yes, they're supposed to be slightly less powerful, but in the case of the Xiaomi 11T Pro versus the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro, which launched in March, the differences are minute.
The Xiaomi 11T Pro (the company recently dropped the "Mi" part of its phones' names) is flat on the front, with a nearly invisible bezel chin on the bottom, making it somewhat reminiscent of Apple's recent designs. The company has even highlighted how flat the phone's 6.67-inch AMOLED display is — a notable departure from the curvy look that's been popular on Android phones in recent years.
The back of the Xiaomi 11T Pro, however, is curvy on all sides, with a plastic back and a big rectangular bump hosting the triple camera.
In terms of specs, it has the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor as the Mi 11 Pro/Ultra. The triple rear camera also has a 108-megapixel main sensor, as well as a 5-megapixel telephoto sensor. The ultra-wide camera has been downgraded from 13 megapixels to eight. Finally, there's a punch-hole, 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
Perhaps the most notable feature on the spec sheet is the phone's 5,000mAh battery with 120W charging, which gets the phone from 0 to 100 percent in an unreal-sounding 17 minutes.
Other features of note include the Harman Kardon-tuned stereo speakers, and the fingerprint scanner on the phone's side. The Xiaomi 11T Pro is available in three finishes: Meteorite Gray, Moonlight White, and Celestial Blue.
Xiaomi also launched the cheaper Xiaomi 11T, which looks pretty much the same, but only has 67W charging and a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 Ultra chip.
Finally, there's the 11 Lite 5G NE, which sports a Snapdragon 778 chip with 5G, a 64-megapixel main camera, and a 4,250mAh battery.
The Xiaomi 11T Pro starts at €649 ($767); the 11T starts at €499 ($590), and the 11 Lite 5G NE starts at €369 ($436). They'll all be available in Europe this October.
Wow, so it's very similar to the Iphone 13??
ReplyDeleteBoom
ReplyDeleteBut it’s not an iPhone ;)
ReplyDeleteI have one in test. Incredibile device! Thanks @Xiaomi

Sorry Xiaomi, no Telephoto Lens no Flagship!!! These are just midranges again...
ReplyDeleteWorse battery performance than the 10T because of the 888 Downgraded amoled panels too LCD was better choice
ReplyDeleteAnd why should anyone buy any of these when they are both downgrades that aren't really cheaper? Mi 11 is at €650 right now and like you said beats the 11T Pro in every metric.. lol
ReplyDeleteWhat's the difference between this one and the one they just launched a couple months ago?
ReplyDeleteIf Samsung hadn't existed mobile evolution would have been fucking dead for a decade. All of these phones are exactly the same.
"This one has a new sensor that takes the same picture in a measurably different way and a different battery!"
This phone is sad news for xiaomi fans.
ReplyDeleteThis company used to be about providing good value for money but like all others its starting to go downhill.
The only reason for this phone's existence is to flood the news cycle so that sites like GSMArena will bury the Apple announcements :)
ReplyDeleteThe 11T is a dud with mediocre cameras and a poor price to value ratio.
Seems like I'll continue to stay with my Mi 9T Pro for one more year
ReplyDeleteHello fellow same phone user
DeleteSame here. Xiaomi is disappointing.
DeleteMI 10t pro is much better, cpu will be much power efficient than Snapdragon 888
ReplyDeleteEven the once humble Xiaomi now removes chargers from the box and still demands a premium price. When they are struggling they act lowly and understanding but when they become successful from riding on customers backs they suddenly become another Apple incarnation.
ReplyDeleteNaaaah. I'll wait for the 12 series. I'm still rocking Mi9T Pro and honestly I don't see a reason for an upgrade.
ReplyDeleteOverpriced, no headphone jack, no micro SD. No buy
ReplyDeletePretty meh, I hope we are getting a xiaomi note 11
ReplyDeleteOk display made by @SamsungMobile ???
ReplyDeleteNo micro SD card. Call it old school but I have all my private files, music, audiobooks on it. If the phone fails/breaks, still have them. Sorry China no Phone for me, I'll stay with my older HTC. :|
ReplyDeleteTry cloud services
DeleteWhat you don't understand about the word "private"?
Deleteover 20 ± years of using cloud services, my information is still private ). There is a greater chance of simply losing your phone or ruining your sd card.
DeleteAs I said, call me old school and sometimes in a situation where I have no proper internet connection.
