Stephen King's latest Trump burn may be his sweariest yet
It doesn't matter whether it's a 1000+ page novel or a 280-character tweet — Stephen King knows how to make his words count.
And when it comes to the U.S. president, he really makes them count.
The horror master has a long, well-documented history of Donald Trump burns, but the looming impeachment appears to have sent King into overdrive.
On Thursday evening, he posted the following tweet — and he really didn't hold back.
Can't really make it any clearer than that, can you?
King's tweet has over 25,000 shares at the time of writing. Plenty of people were echoing his sentiments in replies, too.
Probably a good thing King picked up his National Medal of Arts when Barack Obama was president, and not the man currently in charge.
The ceremony would have been super awkward — if it happened at all.
Thank you for posting this little tidbit- Stephen King is always worthwhile.
ReplyDeleteMaybe with all this tweeting he won't have time to publish, so this could be a blessing in disguise.
DeleteLoved George Conway’s response: “Only sometimes?”
ReplyDeleteI just finished reading "The Institute" last night, and something that was said on page 543 made me laugh out loud. He always gets his little Trump digs in. I love it. It's so weird that Trump has never tried to clap back at him for whatever reason.
ReplyDeleteI love Stephen King more and more with every book, with every Tweet, LOL!
ReplyDeleteagain this is why Steven King is my favorite writer
ReplyDeleteSums up my feeling to a T!
ReplyDelete....and we care? Report on something worth reading. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteKing is just jealous he never thought of a plot or a character this horrible!
ReplyDelete"...but the looming impeachment appears to have sent King into overdrive." Mashable, don't you mean Maximum Overdrive? (See what I did there? ;))

ReplyDeleteMy man Steven!!!
ReplyDeleteThis says it all...
ReplyDeleteI sometimes wonder where I get my colorful language from. Then I remember I've read about 50 Stephen King novels. Couldn't love him any more! Great burn on the festering f*cktard.
ReplyDeleteSame thing I've been screaming since day one
ReplyDeleteNow I would like to hear his opinion on Hillary! Foes he think she was the better choice of these two ?
ReplyDeleteHe should write a good horror film on what the world would look like if one of those Democrat idiots won in 2020. Ya know, people eating eachother because they have no money and unemployed....
ReplyDeleteGreat writer but still a crybaby
