    3. Pretty sure it's a fixed rate of $4.20 while they get it up and running, and only priced it at that "for the meme". Elon loves that number after all. Honestly, most of the hype seems to be around Elon's false promises.

    4. Haha yeah of course it‘s a meme number. But even at market prices for ride hailing business, I can‘t see how this will be a moonshot business case. Competition is massive and I don‘t really see an edge for TSLA except the fact that they have meme status

  46. They use safety drivers in the passenger seat with controls on the door to influence FSD. Likely to slow down speed up change lanes etc.

People noticed it pulled over for an ambulance which FSD (unsupervised) is notoriously bad at. So it’s likely the safety drivers intervened.

This is 100% against what the Tesla community has been touting a tesla robotaxi service would be. It’s a tiny geofenced area with 10 remote operators and a safety drivers per vehicle versus Elon’s “we will just flip a switch and every Tesla on the planet will be capable of generating money as a self driving taxi”.

Tesla community claimed that because they use an end to end neural network trained to drive in any condition that it was a “universal solution”.

This robotaxi launch proves that false and is extremely concerning for the company.
