Amazon is the worst, I work as corporste employee...even your Managers and higher mansgers have too much pressure that they leave jobs. The pressure is absolutely useless, because they want to improve company metricd whilr ignoring consumers and their demands. One time My female manager almost cried in meeting, because of pressure from her manager and above manager. Even L6 level managers are scolded in Amazon like kids. Never ever join this company.

India will gain as many of those jobs will now be done in India for a fraction...but ultimately AI will get India as well - maybe after 5, 10 years when India and US salary difference shrinks drastically.
IT is the biggest export sector for india, with less job money flow in market will reduce so other sectors will be impacted by IT layoffs. Other sector will loose jobs to AI soon as well
