  31. Amazon is the worst, I work as corporste employee...even your Managers and higher mansgers have too much pressure that they leave jobs. The pressure is absolutely useless, because they want to improve company metricd whilr ignoring consumers and their demands. One time My female manager almost cried in meeting, because of pressure from her manager and above manager. Even L6 level managers are scolded in Amazon like kids. Never ever join this company.

  55. They are firing in US and hiring in India. It just hired 3000 freshers and 2000 lateral hires for its offices located in Hyd and Chennai mainly for data centre and cloud infra roles respectively.

This year, Amazon, Meta and Google totally dominated hiring in Tier 1 colleges (IIT, NIT and BITS).

    8. Amazon has a HUGE market (e-commerce and aws etc) in India and is growing by leaps and bounds. Amazon revenues in 2025 are 4 billion USD (Much more if you use Price Parity). Growing by 20+ percent each year. 1.4 billion population. Nothing wrong if they hire in India. Hiring will go hand in hand with the revenue growth and eye on (future) profits. Nothing to do with US firing or hiring.

      Delete
    9. Funny how the excuses given in US (automation, AI, bureaucracy, pandemic over hiring) doesn't seem to apply in India 😂😂.

Btw the proposition that the teams in India work exclusively for Indian market and doesn't have anything to do with US tech stack doesn't pass muster.

  56. AI-driven automation is rapidly reducing jobs, threatening traditional economic structures that rely on employment and tax revenue. To prevent societal collapse and economic breakdown, we need a new social contract—one that ensures fair wealth distribution, supports displaced workers, and guarantees basic services like healthcare and income, while allowing for the responsible integration of AI into the workforce. Without such a framework, growing inequality and social unrest are inevitable. All companies will do this on an increasing scale - this is just the start!
